These fine knitted gloves are designed for children aged approximately 7 to 12 years. The Kid’s Winter Magic Gloves offer stretchy warmth and a comfortable knit suitable for daily outdoor wear during the winter season. They are ideal for school runs, playground play, and family outings where fingers require insulation without bulk. The gloves emphasise a snug fit to preserve dexterity for writing, drawing, and pet-handling activities, while providing essential warmth during chilly commutes.
Waterproof Kids Winter Thermal Gloves
These soft and warm gloves use a thickened spandex and fleece-lined fabric, offering good insulation for little hands. The palm and fingertips include wear-resistant silicone printing to enhance grip, reducing slips when handling items outdoors. They are splash-proof, helping to shed rain and dampness, and include touch-screen capability on the index finger and thumb for devices without removing the gloves. Suitable for walking, cycling, and other light outdoor activities in cold UK weather.
WFX Winter Kids Sports Gloves
Designed for active kids, these gloves feature a thick fleece lining for warmth and a non-slip silicone grip on the palms and fingers. The conductive fabric on the thumb and index finger enables convenient touchscreen use, making these gloves suitable for outdoor sports such as cycling, hiking, and football while keeping hands warm. They are sized for children roughly between ages 6 and 14, providing a versatile option for varied winter activities.
EEFOW Kids Winter Touchscreen Thermal Gloves
EEFOW’s winter gloves for kids combine thickened spandex with breathable, anti-static fabric. They also feature a splash-proof surface to shed light rain or snow, supporting activities like cycling, running, and climbing in damp weather.
WESTWOOD FOX Winter Warm Kids Gloves

Buying Guide
- Activity and weather: For light rain or snow, aim for splash-proof or waterproof shells with a warm fleece lining. For dry, cold days, insulation and soft fabric are most important.
- Dexterity and device use: If kids need to use tablets or smartphones outdoors, prioritize touchscreen-capable fingertips or conductive materials on index finger and thumb.
- Fit and sizing: Look for gloves with a snug fit and stretch cuffs to seal out cold air, especially for younger children who need to grip objects securely.
- Grip and safety: Anti-slip silicone or textured palms improve grip for bikes, scooters, and sports, reducing the risk of dropped items or slips.
- Durability: Reinforced palms and high-quality fabrics extend life through school days, playground play, and family outings in winter weather.
- Maintenance: Machine-washable gloves are convenient for frequent use; check fabric care instructions to maintain warmth and flexibility.
- Durability vs. bulk: Thicker mitts offer warmth but may limit dexterity. Consider fingerless or half-finger designs for activities requiring precision.
- Age range: Ensure the gloves cover the intended age group and offer an adjustable cuff if possible to grow with the child.
This selection emphasizes warmth, control, and device usability for children in UK winter conditions. Whether your child is commuting to school, playing outside, or participating in sports, the right gloves help maintain warmth while preserving movement and safety.
